We held our first get together of the season today at Goswick Golf Course. The course was in fantastic condition.
On the front nine we had great warm, calm conditions unlike the back 9 where it turned decidedly cold and windy.
My thanks to all at Goswick for giving us the use of the course and to the catering team for keeping us all fed and watered .
Congratulations to the runner up Helen McChlery and the winner Rachel Michie - great scores in what became quite tough conditions.

The Whatsapp messages showed that all the ladies thoroughly enjoyed their day at Goswick.
They thanked Sandra McGonigle for her help with the co-ordination with Goswick and of course to Captain Helen for successfully organising the day.
A great start to the 2026 season.
With a practice match against Arcot Senior men later this week and another with Gosforth Senior men next week the season is now well underway.
