An inaugural friendly with Arcot Senior men

Captain Helen set up a friendly match with her home club Arcot Hall's senior men which , as well as an enjoyable and fun day, gave the potential team players an opportunity to paly at Arcot before the Championship there in May.

Helen's report for the day

A very nice dry day for our first friendly match of the pre season program greeted us at Arcot Hall.

16 ladies and 16 of the men's senior section enjoyed a great day with some great golf played by both teams.

The ladies triumph overall

Everyone played individual stableford then all the scores for each team were compbined.

The individual prizes went to Rachael Michie for the ladies and Graeme Tennick for the gents.

I'm very pleased to say overall it was a win for the ladies by a score of 481p points to 475.
Well done girls!

The games were followed by sandwiches and a lovely warming bowl of soup together with lots of chat and banter! A very welcome end to the day.

A great day was enjoyed by all and it has already been placed in the fixtures for next year.
