Our 3rd practice match

The practice matches for our potential Richardson Trophy team players are coming thick and fast now and we are always grateful to our opponents for giving their time freely to help us hone our games.

The match yesterday was an annual one against the Senior men at Gosforth who always make us feel welcome.

It was a glorious day for a friendly match against Gosforth senior men , a regular fixture in our pre season calender.

My thanks to Vice Captain Linda for being there to welcome the players and for some ace photography on the first tee.

Some very close matches

6 closely fought matches resulted in a win for Gosforth 4-2.

My thanks go to both Gosforth senior men for their continued support of our pre season program and to Nikki for the fabulous tea after play and I know everyone is looking forward to our return next year.
