So we get to our 4th practice of the winter programme - preparing us for the season ahead and our matches against the other 5 Northern Counties.
It was a chilly but nice Thursday morning for our match v the County Senior men which later turned into the middle of winter with the most awful 15 minutes of torrential wind and rain which thankfully passed through.
There was some excellent golf played by both teams resulting in a win for the men. They are tough opposition but a good test for our golf.
My first thank you is to the County Senior men's team for continuing to support our pre season programme and for the very welcome soup and sandwiches after play.
My second thank you goes to Whitley Bay Golf Club for giving us course courtesy which is very much appreciated as it does help us as a County to get together and prepare for the season ahead.
